Professor Cameron Lacey is a qualified Psychiatrist and the founder of Elimbias Health. He has over 20 years of experience in the field and is passionate about helping people improve their mental health. Professor Lacey believes in using a holistic approach to treatment, which includes therapy, specialised medications and implementing lifestyle changes. He is committed to providing personalised care to each patient to ensure the best possible outcome using the latest in research and treatments. He conducted the first Psilosybin assisted therapy for depression research study in New Zealand and screening for patient eligibility for this emerging treatment.
Professor Lacey currently holds positions as Clinical Director of Research for Te Whatu Ora Canterbury, (formerly, Canterbury District Health Board) and is Professor at the Department of Psychological Medicine, University of Otago. He is a board member of the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation.
